Mercer County Executive Backs Currie for NJDSC Chair

Mercer County Executive Backs Currie for NJDSC Chair
TRENTON, NJ — Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes is supporting NJDSC Chairman John Currie for a new term. Currie has the support of Governor Phil Murphy and Democratic Chairs in Hudson, Bergen, Sussex, Warren, Morris and Hunterdon counties.
“Good government is good politics, and I see no reason to oppose Chairman Currie when he is working so closely with Governor Murphy and is supported for reelection by the Governor,” said County Executive Hughes. “Governor Murphy is delivering on promises like fixing NJ Transit, investing in public education and ensuring fair treatment of state employees after eight years of Chris Christie. I support that vision for a stronger and fairer state and I support Governor Murphy’s choice on who should lead our party.”
