Mayoral Primary Election with 67% of the Vote

June Dungee, Raya Arbiol and Dennis Maher
Win Council-At-Large Designations

The Old Bridge Democratic Township County Committee is pleased to announce that our candidate for Mayor, David Merwin, won a resounding victory in the Democratic Primary Election held on June 4th, 2019, winning with 67% of the vote. His running mates, June Dungee, Raya Arbiol, and Dennis Maher all decisively won Council At-Large Designations for the November General Election.

The Merwin Team extensively walked Old Bridge communities in their outreach to meet and greet the voters, which undoubtedly resulted in their successful campaign.

Dave Merwin, who is our Ward 1 Town Councilman, believes that we should invest in our school security and recreation activities for our children. He is a Cheesequake First Aid Squad member who has responded to over 8,000 emergency 9-1-1 calls and has been actively working to keep our waterways free from pollution. He plans to implement smart economic growth policies and protect the safety of our homes from the proposed unsafe gas pipeline. We look forward to his win in the General Election in November, when he will again answer the call for Old Bridge as our Mayor.
