“Misogyny In Full Display In McCabe’s Middlesex County” 

Edison, NJ – Today, Middlesex County Democratic Chairman Kevin McCabe, removed over 100 county committee members from the Democratic lines for his replacement candidates.

“In an unprecedented move, Democratic Party Boss Kevin McCabe replaced the diverse women and minority committee with his handpicked candidates to represent Edison’s 78 election districts.  Nearly 75% of the Edison Democratic committee, on McCabe’s decision, will be all male now.  In an unexplained move by Kevin McCabe,  he removed 53 qualified female candidates from the Democratic line and replaced mostly all with new male candidates,” stated Lav Patel, Edison Democratic Organization endorsed candidate for Council.

Patel continued, “Please join me in sending a message to Chairman McCabe.  Women are 50% of the population and should be fairly represented by the Middlesex County Democratic Organization.”

Of the nearly 100 candidates removed, more than half were democratic women. McCabe’s historic announcement comes on the last days of Women’s History Month.
