WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Gaming Association (AGA) will release its annual March Madness® wagering estimate on a press call next week. The call will highlight the role of the failed federal ban on sports betting, the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) in perpetuating illegal betting. AGA will discuss the expansion of sports betting activity in legislatures across the country, offer new insights on the legality of sports pools, and examine how legal, regulated sports betting can benefit stakeholders and local economies.
