Murphy Statement on Need for Compromise Amid Budget Impasse

(TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Carol Murphy (D-Burlington), who sits on the Assembly Budget Committee, issued the following statement Friday on the budget impasse:

“I’m extremely proud of the leadership from Speaker Coughlin, Majority Leader Greenwald and Budget Chairwoman Pintor Marin throughout this budget process, and especially today as they offered a reasonable compromise to have both, large corporations and millionaires pay their fair share. I’m hopeful that common ground will prevail because our residents deserve a solution that is well within reach.”
