N.J. Chamber President and CEO Tom Bracken’s Statement on the ‘One Jersey Pledge’ for Businesses as They Begin to Reopen

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce believes that the One Jersey Pledge presented by Gov. Murphy is welcome guidance for businesses to follow as they begin to reopen.

The guidance provided by the One Jersey Pledge will enhance the safety of business environments and instill confidence in employees returning to work and customers returning to stores.

We believe that businesses that adhere to the guidelines of the One Jersey Pledge should be allowed to reopen when they are ready, provided there are no compelling health-related circumstances that would delay their opening.
