Neighboring police departments face-off for chance to benefit non-profit of their choice

Event to be sponsored, hosted by The Funplex, in East Hanover

WHAT:             An action-packed competition between neighboring police departments will grant the winning team bragging rights, plus an opportunity to hold a (free-of-charge) fundraising event hosted by The Funplex. Along with a bowling and Go-Kart match between both teams (AND a large amount of friendly banter) — the event will include a cook-off, during which a panel of expert, celebrity judges will select the winning dish.

The Funplex – which recently unveiled a $5 million, upgraded entertainment space – is the first location in the state to offer HyperBowling, an interactive set of bowling-related games designed around an innovative bumper system. The thrilling “Reverse Time” ride, manufactured in Italy by SBF, made its U.S. amusement park debut at Funplex just months ago. In addition, there will be a new “Drop and Twist” ride, plus the upgraded and reconfigured Funplex Go-Kart Track.
