Neptune City Republicans Announce Wardell for Mayor Pappas & Thomas for Council

Neptune City, N.J. – Integrity, honesty, and facts will be key components of this election cycle as the Neptune City Republicans announce Wardell, Pappas, and Thomas as their candidates for 2019.

Andrew Wardell, a current councilmember, has been endorsed as the Republican candidate for mayor and wants to ensure that the Borough permanently remains the primary focus of elected officials.
“This has and will always be my home. I was raised here, my family is being raised here and I want to safeguard that same amazing opportunity for future generations by always doing what’s best for the community – not for political points,” said Wardell. “Over the course of the past three years as a member of Council, I have had the privilege of serving the residents of our Borough. It is an honor to announce my candidacy as I look to continue my service as the next Mayor of Neptune City.”

Danielle “Dani” Pappas, who is seeking election to Council and is the Captain of the First Aid Squad, wants a restoration of the residents’ trust in their governing body.

“I am running because I want to restore faith in our community, to give all of our residents someone they can count on who is honest and only has the good of the town at heart,” said Pappas. “Neptune City means everything to me having been born, married, and raising my own family here. The notion of united we stand – divided we fall is a strong belief I hold and I am happy to stand with my community.”

Brian Thomas, a public relations professional who previously worked for the State Legislature and Executive Branch, joins Wardell and Pappas on the Neptune City Republican ticket.

“Facts matter and the fact is, Neptune City deserves elected officials who will be there for and always listen to them, regardless of any differences, and not be driven by ideology,” said Thomas. “I know the issues that face the Borough and have the foresight to plan for those on the horizon. I’m a fighter and someone who doesn’t shy away from debate, but rather encourages it. We will fight on behalf of all residents, no matter the challenge.”
