New Jersey Brewer's Guild Announces New Jersey Craft Beer Week!

The Brewers Guild of New Jersey is proud to announce the inaugural New Jersey Craft Beer Week, running from July 13–20, 2025. The statewide campaign will spotlight over 150 independent breweries through taproom events, special releases, and local collaborations — all designed to bring customers back into the spaces where New Jersey beer is brewed, poured, and shared.

As part of the week’s kickoff, the Guild will host three launch events on Sunday, July 13, across the state:

  • Cloverleaf Tavern (Caldwell) | 10AM–2PM
  • The Landing (Hillsborough) | 3PM–8PM
  • Cinder Bar Cross Keys (Sewell) | 12PM–4PM

Each event will showcase local breweries, offer exclusive draft lists, and give beer lovers a chance to meet the people behind their favorite pints. More events will be announced as the month goes on.

This is the Guild’s first coordinated public campaign, led by Executive Director Brie Devlin and Assistant Director Kaci Collins, both of whom bring years of marketing and brand-building experience to the industry. The effort marks a major push to support small breweries in a state where the craft beer scene remains both underestimated and underrepresented.

“New Jersey brewers have had a uniquely difficult few years, and New Jersey Craft Beer Week is our call to action,” said Devlin. “It’s time for locals to rediscover what’s right in their own backyard.”

Despite being home to more than 150 breweries, New Jersey ranks 9th lowest in breweries per capita and 45th in gallons consumed per 21+ adult- just 0.8 gallons per person annually. That puts the state far behind much of the country in terms of both access and awareness, despite the growing quality and diversity of its beer scene.

“The beer has always been good,” said Collins. “We’re just making it easier for people to find it, and giving them a reason to show up for the places that keep showing up for them.”

Throughout the week, breweries in North Jersey, Central Jersey, South Jersey, and the Jersey Shore will be hosting a wide range of events: tap takeovers, trivia nights, food trucks, live music, and more. The full schedule will be available at brewersguildnj.com/nj-craft-beer-week-2025 and updated regularly.

“We’re not asking people to drive hours or book a plane ticket,” added Devlin. “We’re just asking them to go have a beer in their own zip code.”
