(Cherry Hill) — The New Jersey State Building & Construction Trades Council included Congressman Donald Norcross in their 2020 Congressional and U.S. Senatorial elections endorsement list.
Council President William Mullen stated, “Our council’s endorsement of both Democratic and Republican candidates recognizes our commitment to this broad, non-partisan approach to solving our nation’s economic needs. It also recognizes the commitments these particular candidates have made to protect prevailing wage laws, the use of Project Labor Agreements, and a host of other workers’ rights initiatives.”
Congressman Norcross is a union electrician and currently serves as the Congressional Progressive Caucus Vice-Chair for Labor.
The New Jersey State Building and Construction Trades Council represents 13 Local Building Trades Councils, more than 100 local unions and over 150,000 rank and file members.
