New Jersey Business Action Center Hosts “Resources for Growth” Event, March 8

The New Jersey Business Action Center will host a free “Resources for Growth” event on Wednesday, March 8 at 2-5PM.

The event will take place at Raritan Valley Community College’s Conference Center in Branchburg, NJ. Businesses around New Jersey are encouraged to sign up for the event. Entrance and Registration begins at 1:30 pm. Advanced registration is required.

For businesses looking for help with financing, becoming a government contractor, business certification or other resources, the small business resource event will have representatives to assist. The event will be open to start-ups and existing businesses. Business owners will have time to connect and network one-on-one with state agencies and learn about topics ranging from financing and contracting or certification to hiring and energy rebates.

Over a dozen state agencies and partners will be in attendance to meet with businesses to inform all the resources available for businesses including the following:

• Small Business Administration (NJSBA)
• Economic Development Authority (NJEDA)
• Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI)
• Micro-lenders
• NJ Division of Taxation
• NJ Division of Purchase and Property (DPP)
• NJ Treasury’s Certification Office
• NJ Department of Labor
• NJ State Library
• NJ Department of Transportation
• Department of Community Affairs (DCA)
• Small Business Development Center (NJBDC)

This summit is presented by the New Jersey Business Action Center, the Somerset County Government and its office of Economic Development. Advanced registration is required.
