East Rutherford, NJ (January 22, 2026) – The New Jersey Hall of Fame at American Dream will host the official Whitney E. Houston Capstone event honoring 40 years of the iconic performer’s extraordinary career on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

Pat Houston, the executor of The Estate of Whitney E. Houston will give opening remarks. Guests will relive the music, magic, and unforgettable milestones of The Voice herself through an exhibit, Attendees will also enjoy themed giveaways throughout the day, and Whitney Houston merchandise will be available for purchase in the Boardwalk Shop. Whitney Houston was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in 2013.

Highlights include:

• There will be a Whitney Houston exhibit
• Guests will have the opportunity to perform, alongside Whitney Houston on the Karaoke Stage, featuring exclusive performance footage of I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me) from the Whitney Houston: The Concert For A New South Africa, Durban
• Guests are invited to an exclusive screening of the documentary film, Whitney Houston in Focus at the Jersey Pride Theater.

*Members of the New Jersey Hall of Fame team will be available for on-site interviews during the event.
