NEW JERSEY LCV STATEMENT ON BPU HEARING ON INCREASING RENEWABLE ENERGY

TRENTON, NJ- Ed Potosnak, Executive Director of New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, released the following statement today on the Board of Public Utilities meeting Friday, December 7, on how to increase the use of renewable energy such as solar and wind over the next three years:

We are thrilled that the Board of Public Utilities has decided to hold this meeting. The Murphy Administration, in signing the Clean Renewable Energy Bill, set a new standard for New Jersey’s clean energy economy. We are even more excited at the unprecedented stakeholder input to shape our clean energy future. It is so important that the voices of all New Jerseyans are heard, especially those in underrepresented communities. Thanks to the administration’s actions, I am confident New Jersey will become the greenest state in America.
