New Jersey Society of CPAs to Host Legislative Update and Q&A with Senate President Sweeney
– “Path to Progress” Report to be Discussed –
The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) is hosting a legislative IssuesWatch update and Q&A with New Jersey Senate President Stephen Sweeney to discuss what reforms are needed to improve New Jersey’s economic health. Sweeney, along with members of his Economic and Fiscal Policy Workgroup, penned the “Path to Progress” report, which focuses on five areas of reform, ranging from pensions and stabilizing the system to improvements to education, county and municipal shared services and state and local government tax structures.
