TRENTON — Governor Phil Murphy’s Tax Incentive Task Force will hold a press conference on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 1:00pm EDT to address questions from the media regarding the release of the third and final report on the Economic Development Authority’s Tax Incentives pursuant to its mandate issued in Executive Order No. 52. With this report, the Task Force concludes its in-depth examination of the EDA’s administration and implementation of billions of dollars in tax incentives, including those identified in the Comptroller’s audit report, awarded through programs approved under the 2013 Economic Opportunity Act. At the press conference, the Task Force will address the findings of its investigation, and how they may inform the planning, development and execution of the future structure of New Jersey’s tax-incentive programs.

The final report of the Task Force will be released at 10:00am EDT on July 9. The report will be embargoed until 1:00pm EDT on July 9.
