New Jersey Working Families Party, Blue Wave NJ to sponsor CD-7 congressional candidate forum

WHAT: Blue Wave New Jersey and the New Jersey Working Families Party are sponsoring a debate between CD-7 Democratic congressional challenger Sue Altman and incumbent U.S. Rep. Tom Kean Jr. While MAGA Republicans in Congress have been advancing an extremist agenda in Washington, voters deserve to know where their next representative stands on crucial issues including women’s right to choose, democracy, inflation, and more.

The event, moderated by former U.S. Rep. Tom Malinowski, aims to create a platform for  citizens to engage with candidates, pose questions, and express concerns to their next congressional representative.

While both candidates were invited, Kean has thus far not responded. If Kean refuses to face his constituents then Altman will instead take questions from voters in the district.
