NEXT MONDAY: AGA to Host Next Monday Roundtable Discussion on Benefits of Legal Sports Betting in New Jersey

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ. – The American Gaming Association (AGA) will unveil its annual March Madness Wagering Estimate at an Atlantic City “Get to Know Gaming” (G2KG) event next week. The event will that highlight how the federal ban on sports betting, Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (PASPA), has failed. The event will also touch on the potential benefits of a legalized, regulated sports betting market in New Jersey and nationwide. PASPA bans sports betting outside of licensed sports books in Nevada, the only state exempted from the federal ban on full-scale sports betting.

     WHAT:  Get to Know Gaming event to highlight benefits of a legalized, regulated sports betting market.

     WHO:    The event will be moderated by William Pascrell III of the Princeton Public Affairs Group.
