NJ Federation of Democratic Women to Host 2026 Peg Roberts Volunteer Service Awards Luncheon
Edison, NJ — The New Jersey Federation of Democratic Women (NJFDW) proudly announces the 2026 Peg Roberts Volunteer Service Awards Luncheon, taking place on Friday, May 16, 2026, at The Pines Manor, located at 2085 Route 27, Edison, NJ.
This annual signature event celebrates the power of service, civic engagement, and Democratic values by honoring outstanding volunteers, trailblazing elected officials, and women whose leadership strengthens communities and advances democracy across New Jersey.
“This luncheon is a powerful reminder that service is the heartbeat of our democracy,” said Rachel Green, MPA, Co‑President of NJFDW. “Each honoree represents the dedication, courage, and compassion that move our state forward. NJFDW is proud to lift up leaders whose work inspires meaningful change in every corner of New Jersey.”

● Committeewoman Dr. Thelma Witherspoon – Outstanding Elected Official, South Jersey
● Ms. Jeannine LaRue – NJFDW President’s Award
● Ms. Barbara Wallace – NJFDW President’s Award
