NJBIZ Honors Stark & Stark Shareholder Bruce Stern as ICON Award Honoree

Stark & Stark Shareholder Bruce Stern has been named as one of NJBIZ’s 2021 ICON Award Honorees. The award recognizes New Jersey business leaders over the age of 60 for their contributions, their success and their leadership.

“It is a great honor to receive a 2021 NJBIZ ICON Award,” Mr. Stern stated. “I’ve always been proud to be a leader in Stark & Stark’s Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries practice. I will make sure to continue to serve my clients and community through my strong work ethic and leadership efforts.”

The 2021 honorees, who were selected by a group of independent judges, represent a diverse number of industries, including construction, finance, nonprofits, education, marketing, real estate, law and more. They were formally recognized during a recent virtual awards ceremony.

Mr. Stern, a resident of Hopewell Township, specializes in representing the victims of traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries and wrongful death. In July 2004, he began publishing the Traumatic Brain Injury Law Blog as a way to share his knowledge as a brain injury lawyer.

In addition to his legal practices, Mr. Stern is an active member in the community. He is a member of the AAJ Executive Committee and the National Board of Governors. He is a past chair of the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group, immediate past President of AAJ and a past chair of AAJ’s Motor Vehicle Collision, Highway and Premises Section. He is a past president of the New Jersey Association for Justice (formerly ATLA-NJ) and recipient of its highest award, the Gold Medal for Distinguished Service.
