NJDSC Announces Return of “Building Our Future” Campaign Training Program in June 2023
In-person and virtual events scheduled throughout three weekends
TRENTON, NJ – The New Jersey Democratic State Committee is announcing the return of its highly successful “Building Our Future” training program. Sessions will take place over three weeks in June with the program designed to provide future Democratic candidates, operatives and staffers with the skills and knowledge necessary to run effective campaigns and make a positive impact in their communities.
The Building Our Future training series will cover a range of topics, including finance and fundraising, communications, and field operations. Attendees will hear from experienced operatives from various backgrounds and will learn about every major area of politics and campaigns. This program is suitable for those with varying levels of experience in politics, whether a seasoned campaign veteran or just starting to show interest in the field.

We’re confident that this year’s program will provide participants with the tools they need to run successful campaigns and are looking forward to investing in the next generation of Democratic leaders to ensure that our state’s political landscape reflects the diversity and values of the people of New Jersey.”
Building our Future is a highly respected political training program that has helped hundreds of people to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in government and politics. Over the past several years, many of the program’s alumni have gone on to hold high-level positions in government and politics in New Jersey and throughout the country. These trainings are an invaluable resource for those looking to make a difference and help shape the future of politics in New Jersey and beyond.
The program will take place in Central Jersey, with in-person training sessions held on Saturdays June 17th and June 24th, 2023. A virtual session via Zoom will be held on Monday, June 12th, 2023 and the program will conclude on June 24th with a conference closeout brunch. This will be a unique opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and to learn from experienced professionals so spots for the program are limited, and interested applicants must apply by May 31st, 2023.
