NJDSC Chairman Jones Congratulates Democratic Primary Winners

WEST ORANGE, NJ — After a strong showing from Democratic candidates across the state on primary day, New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman LeRoy Jones, Jr., released the following statement:

“Democrats across New Jersey made their voices heard yesterday and selected the nominees who will carry our party’s values and vision into the 2026 general election. I want to extend my congratulations to all of our primary winners and wish them success as we unite for the critical months ahead.

“I also want to thank every candidate who stepped forward to serve, engaged voters, and participated in this democratic process. Running for office requires courage and commitment to community, and our party is stronger because of everyone who puts themselves forward.

“Most importantly, I want to recognize the thousands of grassroots volunteers, organizers, and local leaders who powered campaigns across our state. Their hard work, energy, and dedication are the foundation of Democratic success in New Jersey and power our ability to deliver for families.

“The stakes in 2026 could not be higher. New Jersey Democrats are united in our commitment to protecting fundamental freedoms, defending working families, expanding economic opportunity, safeguarding reproductive rights, strengthening public education, and standing up for democracy and the rule of law.

“Over the coming months, the NJDSC will work tirelessly to support Democratic nominees up and down the ballot, mobilize voters in every corner of the state, and build the coalition necessary to win decisive victories this fall.
