For Immediate Release
Trenton, NJ – New Jersey’s first Lieutenant Governor, Kim Guadagno has been selected for induction into the New Jersey Business Hall of Fame.
The New Jersey Business Hall of Fame seeks to recognize those role models who have made a profound difference in New Jersey through their commitment to business excellence, visionary leadership, community involvement and high ethical standards.
“On behalf of the NJGOP, I congratulate Lieutenant Governor Guadagno for this well deserved recognition,” said NJGOP Chairman Steinhardt. “Her eight years of leadership helped create thousands of New Jersey jobs, creating opportunities and independence, and promoting the sense of self worth that comes with all that. She was a pioneer and set the gold standard for helping untangle the bird’s nest of bureaucracy that businesses had to battle to be successful here. She fought to retain jobs and bring in new companies and her efforts were a breath of fresh air for our state’s economy.”
Lieutenant Governor Guadagno established the Partnership for Action – New Jersey’s multi-faceted economic development strategy, comprised of the Business Action Center, Choose New Jersey, the Economic Development Authority and the Secretary of Higher Education. She also chaired the Red Tape Review Commission, which successfully led a bipartisan initiative reducing regulatory burdens on businesses.
