Trenton – NJOA trustee/spokesman recognized with national award for tireless commitment to conservation, public land access and advancing his sports

The New Jersey Outdoor Alliance on Monday released a statement congratulating board trustee and spokesman Cody McLaughlin for winning national recognition as an inaugural member of the EarthX 30 Under 30: The Green Generation, sponsored by the American Conservation Coalition, The Audubon Society and EarthX.

“I’m proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with this group of environmental pioneers to make a difference and advance the cause of conservation” said NJOA spokesman Cody McLaughlin, “This is further proof that hunting, fishing and trapping are conservation and sportsmen are a key tool in the toolbox for those who conserve our outdoors. The outdoors belong to everyone, and with that gift comes the responsibility of each of us to conserve our natural resources.”

In a statement released by the American Conservation Coalition, ACC President Benji Backer said: “ACC is proud to partner with EarthX and Audubon to recognize these outstanding individuals who are leading the way on crucial environmental issues. EarthX is the perfect place to bring these leaders together for a few days of inspiring and productive conversations on various issues, and we look forward to the progress those dialogues will bring. Their dedication and hard work is making waves, and we are honored to highlight their achievements and to support their efforts in the future.”

The winners of 30 Under 30 will participate in a day of panels and events at EarthX 2019 in Dallas, Texas, followed by an evening reception recognizing their achievements.
