Passaic, NJ (April 19, 2017) –Today, the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters (NRCC) will officially endorse Passaic Mayor Hector C. Lora and the members of Team Passaic in the May 9th election. Team Passaic includes: Mayor Lora, Horacio Carrera, Arthur Soto, Christina Shratz and Danny Rodriguez.
The endorsement event will be held on Wednesday April 19th at 4:30 PM at the campaign headquarters in Passaic (920 Main Street, Passaic, New Jersey). Attendees include leaders and members of the NRCC, Team Passaic and the general public.
John Ballantyne, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the NRCC, stands by Lora as he runs for Mayor.
“The NRCC is proudly supporting Lora and Team Passaic during the campaign because of their continued fight for project labor agreements, ensuring area standard wages and upholding the Davis Bacon Act, which are all key issues that remain important to union workers,” said Ballantyne. “Now more than ever, we need political leaders who will defend the middle class and its workers.” We know that Mayor-elect Lora will fight for the community.”
