Nurses, Health Care Workers Endorse Cara Parmigiani for Morris County Freeholder

Democrat Earns Support of HPAE

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ (October 6, 2019)—Health Professionals and Allied Employees, the largest union representing registered nurses and health care workers in New Jersey, has endorsed Democratic challenger Cara Parmigiani for Morris County Freeholder.

The HPAE represents more than 13,000 nurses, therapists, social workers and health care professionals working in hospitals, nursing homes, university research facilities, home health care agencies and blood banks throughout New Jersey and the Philadelphia area.

“I am incredibly honored to have the support of our nurses and health care workers and the union that advocates for them,” Parmigiani said. “The HPAE represents a highly skilled and trained workforce that serves the public through extremely demanding jobs. As a freeholder, I will work to make sure that our residents have local access to the best health care possible and to expand the opportunities for health care professionals in our county,” Parmigiani said.

“As a working mother, it is a particular honor to have the support of a profession that employs so many women and working mothers and the union that helps them advance in their fields,” Parmigiani said.
