Pintor Marin: The FY2020 Budget Funds Our Priorities and the Governor’s Priorities

(TRENTON) – Assembly Budget Committee chairperson Eliana Pintor Marin released the following statement in response the Governor’s signing of the Fiscal Year 2020 State Budget:

“I am proud of the budget the Democratic Legislature delivered to the Governor and I am very pleased that he recognizes that the spending plan is fiscally responsible and sustainable.

            “This budget provides much-needed additional funding for NJ Transit, property tax relief, seniors, veterans and more while retaining a $1.1 billion surplus.

            “I thank my colleagues on the Assembly Budget Committee for their tireless efforts over the past several months as we worked to produce a spending plan that funds our shared priorities.”
