Princeton Councilwoman Michelle Pirone-Lambros Endorses Freiman and Jaffer in LD-16

With an eye toward a unified and Blue Legislative District-16, Princeton Councilwoman Michelle Pirone-Lambros today offered her endorsement of Asm. Roy Freiman and Dr. Sadaf Jaffer for the New Jersey State Assembly. She did this on the eve of the Mercer County Democratic Convention stating, “I appreciated the opportunity to get to know people and fellow Democrats in Somerset, Middlesex and Hunterdon Counties during these early days of the campaign season. And it will, of course, be my great pleasure to continue my work on behalf of the people of Princeton as a member of Council. There is much work to be done.”

Assemblyman Freiman and Dr. Jaffer met the endorsement with thanks. “Michelle’s hard work and tenacity on behalf of the municipality of Princeton is critical to all of us working together to make New Jersey better and stronger for all of us. Sadaf and I agree that Michelle brings knowledge, skill and collaboration to the table. We’re both grateful for her endorsement, and know that Princeton Council will continue to thrive with her representation,” Assemblyman Freiman said.

Assemblyman Zwicker, who is seeking the State Senate seat in LD-16, also congratulated Pirone-Lambros for entering the race and noted, “Michelle’s service on Princeton Council has been creative and exemplary, and I look forward to continuing to work with her and the Council on innovative solutions to help New Jersey take its place as a leading hub for discovery and biotech.” Pirone-Lambros added, “It is with sincere good wishes that I endorse Roy and Sadaf to represent us well in the State Assembly. With Andrew leading the ticket, we’re positioned for success and a historic win for LD-16. I wish for all of us good health and a clear path to the end of the pandemic.”
