The Borough of Prospect Park is saddened to learn the passing of former School Board Commisioner Albert “Al” M. Demarest. With over 30 years of service to the Prospect Park community on the Prospect Park Board of Education and Manchester Regional High School Board of Education, Mr. Demarest has dedicated life to the children of Prospect Park.

“Mr. Demarest will be tremendously missed,” stated Mayor Khairullah. “His wisdom and his dedication were felt in the way the district was operating. We send our condolences to his beautiful family.”

Mayor Khairullah has ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff in memory and honor of Mr. Al Demarest. The Borough will announce and share arrangements as soon as the information is provided.
