Publitics Named Finalist For 3 Reed Awards

Publitics was named a finalist for two Campaigns and Elections Magazine Stanley F. Reed Awards for their work with the Biden campaign including “Best Collateral Item or Sign” for a “Philly for Joe” DNC delegate poster and “Best Campaign Merchandise” for the viral “We Just Did Did Hat.”  They were also named a finalist in the “Best Campaign Launch Video” category for their work on Montclair Mayor Sean M. Spiller’s campaign.

Publitics worked with the Biden campaign to create the viral “We Just Did Hat” and the “Philly for Joe” poster. “In what was a challenging and unprecedented campaign cycle, it was a privilege to have a little fun and work with a small group of folks to pull these projects together.  Much credit is due to all who were involved,” said Publitics Principal Matt Krayton.

On Spiller’s hockey-themed launch videos, “Effective positive ads are an amalgam of message, creative, and of course the candidate. When you get it just right, that’s when the magic happens. We were so proud to work with Mayor Sean Spiller, honored to be recognized for our work, and most of all thrilled to win the election. There really is no substitute for victory,” said Publitics Principal Henry de Koninck.

The Reed Awards, named after Campaigns & Elections founder Stanley Foster Reed, embody excellence in political campaigning, campaign management, political consulting and political design, grassroots & advocacy.

“We are honored to have the recognition being named a finalist in three categories for the work we do. As an organization, we are committed to finding creative and forward-thinking ways to run and win elections. As the world around us changes, we respond, finding ways to both utilize and challenge the status quo of campaigning,” said Publitics Director, Sam Liebman.
