Ravi Bhalla Files 1,244 Petition Signatures

The Ravi Bhalla for Congress today announced it filed 1,244 petition signatures with the Secretary of State, well-exceeding the number needed to qualify for the ballot.

“My campaign engaged Democratic primary voters throughout the 8th district in our petition-gathering effort, using it as an opportunity to have conversations at residents’ doors and in strategic locations,” said Ravi Bhalla. “Voters were excited to hear that they will have a real choice in the Congressional primary, as well as highly responsive to my priorities: fighting a national abortion ban, protecting and strengthening our democracy, and working to curb the cost of living.”

Between now and primary day, the Ravi Bhalla for Congress campaign will step-up its’ grassroots campaigning, conducting systematic voter outreach and comprehensive field activities throughout the 8^th Congressional District.

Ravi Bhalla is challenging Representative Rob Menendez Jr. in the June 4^th Democratic Primary.
