Rockaway Township Councilwoman Susan Fahrman Royek Endorses Tom Malinowski for NJ-11

Millburn, NJ— Building further momentum on a morning round of endorsements from Maplewood leaders, Congressman Tom Malinowski today announced additional support from Rockaway Councilwoman Susan Fahrman Royek, continuing a coordinated endorsement rollout across Morris and Essex Counties as the NJ-11 Special Democratic Primary enters its final full week.

Royek is a lifelong resident of Rockaway Township who just flipped her council seat from red to blue in the November 2025 General Election.

“I am deeply committed to electing a representative to Washington who can deliver for our town while simultaneously fighting back against the injustices we are seeing from our President— I believe Tom Malinowski is that person,” Royek said in a statement released by the campaign. “Tom has real experience fighting against brutal and power hungry leaders abroad, and is ready to return to Congress to fight back against ICE’s abuses and hold the Trump Administration accountable.”

With ballots being cast across the district, Malinowski’s campaign is ramping up the final full week of the race with a coordinated push of endorsements, grassroots organizing, and voter outreach aimed at turning strong local support into a decisive victory on February 5th.
