RWDSU LOCAL 108 ENDORSES RAS BARAKA FOR RE-ELECTION AS MAYOR OF NEWARK
(NEWARK, NJ) – Today, Local 108 of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) announced the union’s endorsement of Ras Baraka in his campaign for re-election as Mayor of Newark. RWDSU Local 108 members will mobilize in support of Baraka’s candidacy focusing on his hands-on leadership, his vision to lift all citizens, and his commitment to building a Newark that works for everyone. RWDSU Local 108 members work in grocery, retail, warehousing, healthcare, transport, airport operations, public service sectors and other key industries in New Jersey, with many living and working in the city of Newark.
