Good Morning Sussex County Republican Committee,

I first want to congratulate all of the winners of this past Primary election cycle. This includes, among others: Assembly Members Dawn Fantasia & Michael Inganamort, Sheriff Mike Strada, Deputy Commissioner Director Jill Space, Frankford Mayor and Commissioner candidate David Silverthorne and our Next Governor, Jack Ciattarelli. These outstanding public servants have and will continue to produce exceptional results for Sussex County, LD24 and now the entire State of New Jersey..

Today I am excited to announce that I will seek the position of Chairman of the Sussex County Republican Committee. This is an amazing opportunity and it would be my honor to work for the team as we head towards November as One, Unified SCRC!!! It was you, the hard working, dedicated volunteers of this Committee who entrusted me with the honor of being your County Commissioner and now I ask for your support in being Your Sussex County GOP Chairman. Being your Commissioner was the honor of my life and after holding that office, I applied and was appointed to the Sussex County Community College Board of Trustees of which I serve with great honor (a special thanks to the County Commissioners Carney, Space and DeGroot for making that possible). I will invest the same energy, enthusiasm and honor into the Chairmanship of this Party.

To be a great leader, one must surround himself with proven leaders who put the team first, who never take the credit for what the team accomplishes and builds up those around them, one who puts others before themselves always, for the benefit of those we serve. Today I would like to introduce 2 exceptional public servants who have agreed to join the team and be of service to you.

First: Montague Township Committee Woman, Former Montague BOE President, Sussex County Committee Montague Township District 3 Committeewoman, Women for Gun Rights Delegate and sitting SCRC Vice Chair Barbara Holstein to join me as Vice Chairwomen. Barbara has been a resident of Sussex County for 30 years, a graduate of Sussex County Vo Tech School with a passion around keeping the County's rural character. She's the proud Mom of her High Point Graduate, now USMC Staff Sergeant with almost six years active duty. Barbara's passion around transparency, selfless dedication and a united party are exactly what I'm looking for in a Vice Chair.

Next: Former Sussex Councilman, former Sussex / Wantage BOE member, former Sparta EMS member, Past Captain of the Sussex EMS and current member of Sussex Fire Dept. and sitting Mayor of Sussex Boro Robert Holowach to be my Executive Director. Bob has served the Boro of Sussex for 12 years and counting, has led many civic organizations, is a dedicated First Responder and above all, is a terrific family man married with three children. Bob is committed to delivering the very same transparency, fiscal responsibility and team leadership he displays as Mayor and Project Manager for an International Fortune100 company.

As Party Chairman I will ensure the Sussex County Republican Party is returned to its former dominance. I will re-establish a finance committee and we will canvas the entire county for new donors and re-activate former/disillusioned ones as well. I have the confidence of multiple conservative political action committees and will be working to ensure a solid relationship with our Sussex County business community. I will not spend money without the committee's approval and I will never verbally assault or denigrate any member of our Republican Party. I will return professionalism to the Party and respect all opinions from fellow Republicans. I will work with every municipal committee to ensure they have the simple things like signs in a parade or materials they need for town day events. I will ensure our funds we all work so hard to raise are spent efficiently on local objectives, not ego trips or pet projects. We will be visible where we haven't been, I will meet the Democrats head on the field and ensure we have competitive, well funded races that are capable of pushing back on their predictable lies and deceit and I will always be open to the ideas of this parties membership. This will allow us to expand our ranks and increase our ability to protect our Republican controlled towns, instead of losing them due to expensive, ineffective strategies. The Republican Party here in Sussex County is seen as a bastion of Conservative government in a largely Democratic run State. As your County Chair, I will ensure our elected officials have the support they deserve, our local committees have the resources needed to grow and our representatives in Trenton have an ally working to further our shared Conservative goals of turning NJ RED!
