Scutari-Ruiz Statement on the Death of Councilwoman Dwumfour

Trenton – Senate President Nick Scutari and Senate Majority Leader M. Teresa Ruiz issued the following joint statement on the death of Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour:

“We are disturbed and saddened by the senseless act of violence that took the life of Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour in her home community of Sayreville. She was a young woman who selflessly chose to dedicate her talents and sense of caring to public service. Her tragic death is a terrible loss to us all.

“We express our sincere condolences to the Dwumfour family, her friends and colleagues, and the residents of Sayreville at this difficult time.”
