Senate President Sweeney on the Passing of Former President George H. W. Bush

TRENTON – Senate President Steve Sweeney issued the following statement today on the passing of former President George H. W. Bush:

“We all mourn the passing of President Bush and honor his legacy of public service. He was a man who embraced the selfless ideal of serving our country. He truly was one of the Greatest Generation of Americans who served and sacrificed with dignity and humility. He lived a life of meaning that was an inspiration to his family and an example to us all.”
