| Senator Singleton Hosting "Future Proof Your Career" Workshop
Also seeking donations of like-new men's and women's professional attire Moorestown – State Senator Troy Singleton is hosting a “Future Proof Your Career” Workshop that will teach attendees to use AI to write standout resumes and cover letters, optimize their LinkedIn profiles, market transferable skills, and more. The FREE event will be held Monday, October 27th from 8:30am to 1:00pm at the Mount Laurel Municipal Building, 750 Centerton Road. This dynamic event features four powerful speakers focused on leadership, harnessing the power of AI, building a personal brand, and leveraging skills to unlock new career opportunities for those just starting out in their careers, or those further along in their professional journey. Anyone interested in the event can sign up on the Senator's website: www.troysingleton.com/futureproof “In today’s fast-changing economy, no career is completely safe, but that also means no one’s potential is fixed,” said Senator Singleton. “At this workshop, we’re aiming to give attendees the tools they need to adapt, thrive and seize new opportunities. Whether you’re looking for a new job, or trying to level-up in your existing one, we want every person to leave feeling more confident, prepared, and self-assured.” The Senator continued that part of feeling confident for the job you want is having professional and workplace appropriate clothing. That is why he is also collecting “like new” men’s and women’s professional attire, such as suits, dresses, blazers, pants, shirts, and ties. Donations will be given out at the event’s “Career Closet” and will help attendees show up with confidence and style for interviews, networking, and other new opportunities. Donations can be dropped off at Beacon of Hope, 41 Mill Street, Mt. Holly from 8:30am to 1:00pm Monday to Friday.
