Senator Singleton to Lead Team of Volunteers at Masonic Village in Burlington
Burlington, NJ – For his September community service event, State Senator Troy Singleton will partner with the Masonic Village to help maintain the outdoor premises. The “Serve with Senator Singleton” event will take place at theMasonic Village, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington Township NJ on Saturday, September 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
With the help of his volunteers, the Senator will paint the community’s outdoor picnic area, which includes the pavilion, tables, and chairs used for the residents’ picnics and barbeques.
“It is a privilege to team up with the Masonic Village for our September community service event,” says Singleton, who represents Burlington Township as part of the 7th Legislative District. “We look forward to volunteering our time and to be of service to ensure that this community’s recreational and communal areas are well maintained.”
This event will be the Senator’s 21st “Serve with Senator Singleton” community service project. Previous volunteer efforts include: indoor and outdoor clean-up days, animal welfare projects, various clothing and supply drives, painting projects, and community event set-up and staffing.
