I am deeply saddened by the passing of Frank J. Guarini, a proud son of Jersey City, decorated veteran, and seven-term Congressman whose life was defined by service to our nation and community.

Just weeks ago, Hudson County proudly celebrated the opening of the Honorable Frank J. Guarini Justice Complex in Jersey City; a lasting tribute to his extraordinary legacy and decades of public service. That dedication now carries even greater significance as we reflect on his remarkable life and lasting contributions.

Congressman Guarini’s commitment to public service, education, and civic leadership helped shape the future of Jersey City and Hudson County for generations to come. His impact will continue to be felt through the institutions he strengthened and the countless lives he touched.

On behalf of the 31st Legislative District, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Guarini family, his loved ones, and all who join in mourning this tremendous loss.
