The statement below is by Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. on behalf of the Board of Commissioners regarding the Lieutenant Governor's resignation

"I want to praise the Governor for making the hard decision of asking and getting the Lieutenant Governor's resignation. She has been aggressive and steadfast in her resolve to create a new culture in Trenton, and these actions underscore that commitment. Her dedication to a new day is real and I believe the Governor has put this distraction to bed so we can move on as a state."
