Statement from Governor-elect Phil Murphy on today’s Gubernatorial transition meetings

Trenton — Governor-elect Phil Murphy released the following statement regarding today’s transition meetings.

“Today, I met with Governor Christie to discuss transition efforts. I greatly appreciate the Governor’s commitment to make this transition efficient and productive.  My team is eager to get started, and we’ll do so knowing we have the full cooperation of Governor Christie and his team. 

“Sheila, Tammy, and I also met with Jose Lozano, Executive Director of Transition2018. The agenda we submitted to the people of New Jersey was resoundingly approved, and we are getting to work building a stronger, fairer economy that works for all New Jerseyans.”

“New Jersey spoke loud and clear Tuesday night: they want a Governor laser-focused on building our economy and creating good paying jobs for the middle class. I am 100% focused on making that happen.”
