Statement From Speaker Coughlin on the State Attorney General’s Announcement Regarding the Recent ABC Special Ruling:

(TRENTON) – “I applaud the Attorney General’s decision to suspend enforcement of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control’s “Special Ruling.”

“Since the ruling took place, I have strongly believed it was inconsistent with the intent of the 2012 law and had the very real potential of hurting small business owners. As a state, we must continue to attract businesses, create new jobs and foster economic growth.

“I look forward to working with the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control to address the needs of microbreweries and help New Jersey small businesses continue to thrive.”
