STEVE ROGERS URGES NEW JERSEY SENATE TO VOTE AGAINST SENATE BILL 3041

(March 13, 2017– Nutley, NJ)  With the New Jersey Senate set to vote on legislation today that would harm pet breeders and fanciers, Republican gubernatorial candidate Steven Rogers took a stand against the bill.

“This legislation is an attempt by the Senate to ram through legislation under the guise of protecting animal welfare that actually does more harm than good. The Senate crafted a bill providing for arbitrary standards without consulting animal husbandry experts and offering them a fair chance to weigh-in on the legislation. It’s clear that Senate Bill 3041 is bad for New Jersey’s responsible breeders and fanciers and for pet lovers throughout the state.”
