Strengthening Anti-Harassment, Anti-Discrimination Policy in Assembly & for Public Officers, Employees on Thursday Assembly Agenda

Assembly Also to Vote on Legislation Expanding Jurisdiction for Sexual Abuse Committed Against Children; Making Remote Sellers, Online Marketplaces Pay NJ Sales Tax, & Honoring the Soldiers Who Inspired the Movie, “Black Hawk Down”

 

(TRENTON)- Establishing policy concerning harassment and workplace discrimination in the Assembly, mandating the Legislature adopt and distribute policy prohibiting sexual harassment, allowing the prosecution of certain crimes committed against minors in another country and requiring any public officer or employee convicted of corruption or sexual assault to forfeit pension top Thursday’s Assembly voting session.

The Assembly will also act on the Governor’s recommendations for the AC Airport Garden State Growth Zone, hair braiding licensure, extending parking privileges to at-home healthcare workers and revising Temporary Disability Leave law measures.
