Summit Council Member Marjorie Fox Endorses Tom Malinowski

(Summit, NJ) Summit Council Member Ward 2 – Marjorie Fox today threw her support behind Tom Malinowski for Congress. As Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee her focus is on land use issues and redevelopment to create economic and quality of life benefits for the community.

Council Member Fox’s statement is below:

“In these times when our fundamental values are under assault, we need a representative in Congress who has the experience to hit the ground running.  Tom has committed his 30-year career to public service. I am confident that Tom has the knowledge, honesty, and integrity to fight for policies that will benefit our district, our state and our nation including repealing the recent tax ‘reform’ and implementing the Gateway Project to ensure reliable access to New York City.

I am committed to bringing more women into public office but that goal does not prevent me from endorsing the best qualified candidate, even if that candidate is a man.  I believe wholeheartedly that Tom is that candidate. In CD7, we have “our eyes on the prize” and Tom has kept his promise not to engage in negative campaigning. I urge my friends and neighbors to support Tom Malinowski in the Democratic Primary.”
