Surrogate Candidate Heather Darling Pledges to Make Services More Widely Known
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Morris Plains, NJ– Morris County Freeholder and candidate for Surrogate, Heather Darling released the following statement pledging to make accessibility a priority during her tenure as Surrogate in the following ways.
- Updating the website and social media accounts to provide detailed information on the services the Surrogate’s Office offers, particularly in regard to how it can benefit seniors, those with special needs, their families and individuals seeking adoptions.
- Holding events throughout the county, where the public can attend and learn about the services offered by the office.
- Serving as a constant presence in the community by attending events of various organizations and groups to promote the Surrogate’s Office and services offered.
“From probating wills, to handling guardianship matters for the most vulnerable among us, and adoptions for helpless infants and children, the Morris County Surrogates Office has, for many years, offered top-notch services. The problem is these services are widely unknown to the public. As Surrogate, I pledge to make the services offered more known and accessible to the public. Those who know me, know that I never shy away from attending an event or speaking to a group, and I will continue that as Surrogate, in the name of promoting the Office for the benefit of those who need it most.”
