SWAIN & TULLY ENDORSED BY POLICE & FIREFIGHTERS, EARN MOMS DEMAND ACTION “GUN SENSE CANDIDATE” DISTINCTION
PARAMUS, NJ, Sep. 20th, 2019: Assembly Members Lisa Swain and Chris Tully have now earned the official endorsements of the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association (NJSPBA), the New Jersey Firefighters’ Mutual Benevolent Association (NJFMBA), and the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ).
Tully and Swain also recently received a Gun Sense Candidate distinction from gun violence prevention group Moms Demand Action.
Swain and Tully have issued the following statement:
“We are honored to be recognized by the NJSPBA, NJFMBA, PFANJ, and by Moms Demand Action for the work we are doing to improve public safety in New Jersey. We could not have more respect for the brave police and firefighters who put their lives on the line to keep our community safe or for the dedicated grassroots advocates who are helping us to end the scourge of gun violence.
Our most important duty as legislators is to look out for our constituents’ safety and well-being. We are committed to continuing our strong partnerships with local law enforcement, first responders, and gun violence prevention advocates so that we can keep protecting New Jerseyans from harm.”
