Sweeney to Hold News Conference on the Introduction of ‘Path to Progress’ Legislation

Trenton – Senate President Steve Sweeney will hold a news conference tomorrow on the introduction of a package of bills from the ‘Path to Progress’ fiscal reform initiative Thursday, May 16^th at 12:00 p.m. in Room 103 of the Statehouse in Trenton.

The ‘Path to Progress’ bill package is a series of significant fiscal reforms and cost savings that were developed to address New Jersey’s growing fiscal crisis.  The package contains substantial savings for state and local government, school districts, public workers and New Jersey taxpayers.
