Sweeney Issues Statement on the Passing of Senator Bucco

Trenton – Senate President Steve Sweeney issued the following statement after the passing of Senator Anthony Bucco on September 16, 2019:

“Senator Bucco was a colleague and a friend. He led a full life of service dedicated to the people of Morris County and New Jersey. With his fellow senators, he served respectfully with grace and humility. For the people of the 25^th district, he served thoughtfully with compassion, attentiveness and concern. Senator Bucco devoted his life to the Garden State, and his absence in the Senate Chambers will be felt by all. I extend my deepest condolences to his wife, Helen Jayne; his son, Assemblyman Anthony Bucco; his family, friends and all touched by this loss.”
