Sweeney Marks 6th Anniversary of Hurricane Sandy

TRENTON – Senate President Steve Sweeney issued the following statement marking the 6th Anniversary of Hurricane Sandy:

“It has been six years since Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey as one of the most destructive disasters in the state’s history. The victims of the storm and the people of New Jersey responded with a sense of solidarity and determination to overcome the devastation and to rebuild the homes and businesses that were damaged or destroyed. Our work is not fully done but we can take pride in the progress we have made and in rebuilding our communities and making them safer from the destructive forces of natural disasters.”
