Sweeney Statement on Passing of Jamie Fox

Trenton – Senate President Steve Sweeney issued the following statement today on the passing of Jamie Fox:

“The passing of Jamie Fox is a terribly sad blow to the entire New Jersey political community and to me personally. Jamie was a consummate political professional who distinguished himself in campaigns, with policy, governing and in all forms of politics. He was smart, hard working, tough, and a real team player who brought out the best in those he worked with. He gained the respect, the trust and the appreciation of his colleagues and adversaries alike. He was serious in his work, but he was selfless in his accomplishments.  

“Jamie will be sadly missed, but he will be fondly remembered by the countless friends he made. My sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to his family, to his loved ones and to everyone who was fortunate to know him.”
